Some good money being paid for premium .me.uk domains

What am I missing?

Cheers, Luke

This thread of mine mostly :)

http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domai...names-inc-comedydvd-co-uk-itforums-co-uk.html

A few weeks ago, I advertised some very premium .me.uk on this great forum we call Acorn, with a starting offer of £5. The best offer I got on four of them was £5, and as a man of my word, I had to sell them. Do I regret it? Well, yes I do a bit, but I'm just saying a week or two you could almost not give them away.

Now someone has realised that .me.uk can be "made to rank", as can pretty much any extension as far as I'm concerned, and it looks like the whole UK domain scene has started taking notice of .me.uk. It's a good job I still own cheapcarinsurance.me.uk or I might have to have a little cry, and no I wouldn't sell it for £5, I probably wouldn't sell it for £5k either.

Rgds

you pay your money you take your chances. Theres certainly not a stampeed right now for .me.uk as from a user perspective they are less acceptable than even a .org.uk in many cases but there does seem to be an uplift in interest for them and I'm buying premium .me.uk domains lol.

So what's your search for .me.uks brought you at the mo JMOT, any nice ones you'd like to share with us?

CarInsurance.me.uk is being advertised on the forum at the moment I believe ...

Rgds

A relatively high sale price for a me.uk domain, someone looking for a list of premium keywords in that extension and the forum goes me.uk crazy! I wonder how many will actually sell?

remember when everyone laughed at .org.uk years ago and just said 'just makes the .co.uk more valuable'?

now the .org.uk has it's day :D

i only have half a dozen of these, find them very difficult to shift to be honest
i love .org.uk but not keen on .me.uk

seen a couple interesting to reg, may see how they do after developed.

Not taken the plunge with .me.uk tbh, but it makes sense that other .uk extensions will end up having to be well-known/popular due to demand.

I don't know about sales, but bmxbike_me_uk already made few quid ;) for me on the storeburst since May.
