As you maybe aware the DRS appeal for mercer.co.uk is now out:

mercer.co.uk Appeal

The result: Overturned No Action

Would anyone like to have a go at comparing this to the bounce.co.uk DRS Appeal?

bounce.co.uk Appeal

i.e. what could the registrant have done in this case to keep the name as in the mercer.co.uk case.

Also.....

On the DRS review there are three options for fees:

Updating the .uk Dispute Resolution Service

Number 3 says "Introduce a system where the losing party pays for the decision".

In the case of mercer.co.uk the defendant lost the DRS but won on the Appeal.

So if this was implemented:

Who would pay the Appeal fee? Or does this only apply to the DRS complaint fee?

Would the defendant have to pay the DRS fee and the Appeal fee?

Also why is the appeal fee £3000 + VAT - why isn't it £750 x 3 experts = £2250 + VAT ?

P.S. before anyone says so yes I posted this on Nom-steer to :D
