Hi

Just before everyone fires off an email to ED like I did, about the fact their paypal funds got debited a Paypal transaction charge - read the Blog at http://blog.namedrive.com

Hi guys,

Just an update on this. After spending an hour on the phone to PayPal this morning, they are looking into it, so hopefully it will be resolved some time today.

Hi guys, we have been in touch with PayPal again and they have said that they are in the process of returning the money to the affected PayPal accounts, so it should hopefully be resolved within 24 to 48 hours.

Had an email from Paypal apologising and confirming they will sort things out in the next 24 hours. Your hour long phone call was not fruitless after all - Thanks !

Do you have to email paypal to ask for a refund or is it automajically done for you?

It should be automatically done for you. They know who received the money via our transfer, so it should be no problem for them to see who needs their money back. I'm hoping it'll be done today.

Sorry for the mix up with the PayPal payments. PayPal should now have refunded you the money they mistakenly took. I've checked with several account owners and they have confirmed that everything is looking good again. PayPal have asked me to inform our customers that if the money has not been returned, they should contact PayPal Merchant Solutions at 1-888-215-5506.

Mine has not been corrected :(

Not sure it's worth the hassle of phoning them though, given that I've moved most of my domains to minisites my earnings are low so the fees worked out at about 75p!
