I've sold a domain name (YAY!!
), but the buyer is as technical as a can of Baked Beans, and doesn't 'own' any domains at present, they are in the hands of their web developer. But they would like to keep this one separate from their current site, and learn how to do things themselves.
What is the best way of me transferring the domain to them, but managing the whole process for them?
Would it be to create a hotmail (or similar email) address, to use for the transfer, and setup an account at say 123-reg (using this email) to transfer the domain into? That way I have access to everything, and once done they can take that email account and do what they like with it.
Or is there a better way that I haven't thought of?
Thanks
