have the domain no fee claims dot com and site for, yes, "no fee claims???"

Got a letter from the owner of nofeeclaims.co.uk today who says they have the ltd company and i am "passing off" as offer similar to them???? I asked a couple of friends who said it was ridiculous, thats what i think as no fee claims is generic.

Anyone have any broader knowledge on .coms, passing off etc for this instance? i told then pretty much "see you in court" just curiousof your opinions of this.

Obv i had never heard of their company before.

I'm not expert on disputes, particularly .coms but as you say it is a generic term and I would guess they're trying it on because they want the domain, they also probably want your site which looks a million times better than theirs :)

They didn't register the Ltd company until after your site was live ( 13/06/2008 ) so that may give you some form of defence if needed.

I'm sure someone more knowledgable on the subject will be along soon.....

If you think you'll make more than around £250 from it, trademark the name and then take theirs off them. :D

Actually if I were you, I'd be in a good mind to raise a DRS against the .co.uk just for good measure.
