So the short term plan is to test the water with .wales with this new Nominet NRS Limited malarkey.

Then at some point in the future bring all .uk domains and management services into a separate company (NRS Limited or something similar) and then you have effectively separated the two companies so Nominet (classic) can go and do its blue sky stuff with blowing buckets of cash while poor little Nominet .UK whatever Ltd with its 10million domains is drip fed cash and moved out to some backwater - and funnily enough will be in a position to acquired by an enormous third party like GoDaddy down the line and guess whats coming sweethearts.. they'll be rubbing their hands with glee at them lowly renewal fees. Perhaps I'm just being cynical?
