Good thinking.
I called Nominet. If you already have transfer forms printed off they will accept a paper transfer.
However they do intend to phase out paper transfers
"probably by the end of the year"
just to add, the girl I spoke to told me that you can no longer download a transfer form from the nominet site
which is clearly wrong...........
