Fogrive my ignorance as I am not a domainer, if the reg'd date is Jan 07 that means the previous refused to renew it? WTF would someone let a domain like that expire ~ I don't get it

Good domains are not renewed and drop everyday for any number of reasons - from someone no longer needing it to the previous registrant no longer being alive!!

In this case it was previously owned by a liquidated company I think....
