PHP news script

I'm a total PHP novice but i need a SIMPLE news script preferably with paging - does anyone have any good experiences?

if you have your own script i could possibly donate funds in return

a similar contact form would also be extremely handy?

carp is a free news script ive used. don't think it does paging though although i haven't looked for years so may have changed.
