hmm wouldnt be trying to attract Virgin would they ?

i use pipex so whoever buys it cant do a worse job

BT has been linked with an acquisition of Pipex in the past, but the business could be of more interest to Carphone Warehouse, Orange and Sky, the broadband companies which competed for AOL's UK business last year. There has been significant consolidation activity in the broadband sector due to intense price competition.

What about 123-reg.co.uk and webfusion?

pipex

staff at 123reg must be fed up,reflects oncustomer service..z

I'd give them £2.50 for it, but I would probably feel ripped off.

Its the hosting/domains side of Pipex (123-Reg etc) that is the "cash cow" side of things. Its the broadband they loose money on and can't compete with
Sky, CW, BT etc..

OK, I'll give them a fiver then, but I still feel ripped off ;)

I would buy it but they'd probably transfer ownership to the wrong person! :D

Na, they will just accidentally delete themselves, give a completely incoherent and irrelevant excuse and then blame you and charge you extra for the privilege.
