Ok great thanks Aaron, I think that domain was registered in 1996 or before having just had a look around.

I wonder why someone at plus net cancelled the domain? Madness.

I wonder if it was an error? I have heard of nominet asking for domains back in certain cases.

It had expired, was due to drop on boxing day but didn't, I've just checked it was owned by Potential Development Limited who have dissolved.

That makes sense, as the reg date was sep time, so just never dropped. It still seems that it was manually cancelled though, maybe they just decided to let it go, may be a load more they owned they let go same day?
