Realistic pricing

Hi everyone,

I have a domain name which I purchased only a couple of months ago. I have started putting my own website on the domain but luck has it a comple of people have been interested in the domain.

How do I realistically price the domain? Is it worth me just putting it on a site like godaddy and auctioning it off.

since you are new , i will let you now my opinion for what its worth

so if you have two people interested why not ask them what they would be prepared to buy for

and if you think its a good offer sell , as owning domains is one thing have interest in them is another so , if you have bites on your hook reel them in

you could end up with egg on your face in auction or maybe not

the thing is, the choice is yours

What decides what a domain name is worth? I do not know the first thing about pricing a domain name. I understand they go from £3 to £30000. I am worried if i just say name your price they might just say a tenner when i could potentially sell for £300.

look it does not cost anything to ask a question like what did you have in mind
then if price is ok deal up,

if not try and be reasonable and ask what you think is ok

What's the domain, as it looks like you hit submit before writing it in the first post?

At the end of the day, the price for keyword-based domain names (assuming this is one) is normally going to depend on how much profit someone think they will be able to make from it. Research the industry if you aren't already familiar with its profit margins and competitiveness, look at similar domain prices for related keywords etc. The list goes on.

The pricing doesn't go from £3 to £30,000 though, it's more like £0 (some members on here have given them away before) to as much as you think you can achieve like Steve says above.
