Really large disk storage hosting?

I deal databases that are usually very huge as 5GB - 20GB and I have lots of them. I probably need 1TB disk storage that is cheap and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Checked out Rackspace cloud files and I wouldn't pay that much for something like this. Amazon aws is even more expensive.

Anyone knows any good cheap hosting that comes with large disk storage? Shared hosting is fine because my website has low traffic and is all (almost) static.

So cloud storage is my only option? Any cheaper solutions other than Rackspace or Amazon?

You're unlikely to find what you want cheap, simply because if you actually USE a whole TB of storage there's not much left for all the other shared hosting clients on that server.

I'd have thought you're better off looking at low-end dedicated servers, that way all the disk space will be yours to play with.

Is this for an actual database or just the dump files? If you have a real database of that size, you'll be wanting good quality hosting otherwise the performance will be pants

You need either a dedicated server or as invincible says, a co-located server of your own. One thing to bear in mind with co-location is that you become responsible for any hardware issues with your server - if it goes down at 4am with a failed drive or other component, it'll be you driving to the datacenter to fix it.
