I'm looking for a 7 inch+ Tablet (android ideally) which has USB Host capability. I don't want to have to root the device, or fiddle about.
Doesn't need loads of features.
1, Ability to read a card reader and maybe portable hdd.
2, View images.
3, 7inch+ Screen.
4, Wifi would be nice for easy transfer.
That's its soul purpose to live in my camera bag.
I have looked at some which 'claim' its usb compatible but upon testing it more means you can connect it via usb to a computer.
So anyone have a tablet which can read memory cards (other than the one inserted) ?
Any recommendations which you are 90% sure has this feature ?
Edit: The Archos 7 Home Tablet from Carphone Warehouse picked and chose which drives to access. It would access my pen drive but not my Extreme CF Cards, looking at the Archos 101 (http://store.archos.com/archos-internet-tablet-p-5005.html) now, but want other options.
