Thebuilder.co.uk was registered in 1997 so perhaps more vision than luck.

Vision in terms of "the xxxxx" being a nice branding angle, but pure luck that someone came along for that one. I say slightly more luck than vision, but hey that's the game we play.

If this was posted in the appraisals section how much do you think people would value it at?

I'd assume many would say that they wouldn't reg it if it was FTR. Sometimes you get lucky I suppose.

Sometimes that's why - desping sedo's pushing of bin - that having 'make me an offer' is probably the way to go. Unlikely these lot had this as a BIN!
