Some of you know I'm conducting research into the domain industry. Over the next few weeks I'll be seeking your support and input into DRS, ADR, UDRP and questions on the valuation of domain names with the knowledge of UCLAN (University of Central Lancashire)

Many thanks to Admin and Paul for their support, I only hope you guys are able to assist.

If anyone has direct experience with either DRS, ADR or UDRP could you please pm me..

I've had a couple of positive responses I thank you.

It would be nice to have a few more who are willing to discuss the DRS systems.

Many thanks to those that came forward yesterday. I'm still interested in more comments on the DRS, ADR and UDRP systems

Complainant in mind

Whether or not a registrant has a complainant in mind when he or she buys the domain name is irrelevant if the complainant does not have unequivocal rights to the domain name.

If you were a property developer and got wind that sainsbury's are looking to move into a 1 mile radius of a specifc point and you decide to buy up all the available land for the sole purpose of selling it onto sainsbury for an inflated price (inflated price because you bought up all the land) you wouldn't lose that land for being abusive because sainsbury don't have unequivocal rights to that land.

DRS needs to be changed to reflect this
