Wanted: Domain Appraisal Scunthorpe.org

May I request an appraisal for Scunthorpe.org

1. Domain is 6 years old and is a Pagerank 3 domain. Scunthorpe is a town in North Lincolnshire, England which has a population of 75000
2. Phrase searches on google - "Scunthorpe" has 555,000 global monthly searches and 673,000 searches in August 2009.
3. Exact searches on google - "Scunthorpe" has 27,100 global monthly searches and 40,500 searches in August 2009.

I might have got a bit excited and sent some PM's with an inflated price for this domain. I'd appreciate an appraisal, so that no one gets any annoying PM's from me

I would have thought around £100 would be a fair price at the moment.

What price would you be happy with?

If someone offered £100 now would you be happy with £100 in your back pocket and 1 less domain?

Or do you have a "hope for" price that your hanging on to it for i.e. £1k that will never happen unless you get lucky or dev it.

Myself I would want to buy it for around the £75-£100 mark and if I was selling it as it is now for just a little more.

I'd put a real site on it as that will make it much more shiny.

Really depends on the town and if they are pushing it as a tourist destination… If the com .co.uk etc have been developed and you can take enough traffic away from them then they may make offers.... Personally develop it most larger towns in net org org.uk eu .info and alike are reasonably easy too bring in a small income without having to spend loads... Personally I would target firms that benefit from out of town visitors, hotels restaurants, taxi, tourist attractions etc at first other wise you would be looking in £xx to very low £xxx

Thanks you all for your input. I guess I'll leave it on sale in the XXXX range, but work towards developing it in the meantime. I have got some interest in the mid XXX range, but like you'll have said, it'll probably be more valuable developed. Thanks again.
