We sold this a couple of weeks back for £2500, forgot all about it. Just noticed it again tonight as I was checking the serps for "search engine optimisation" and its in the top 30. Could be a nice buy if they can get it into the ranking positions...

very nice ! did you sell it as domain name alone ?

I think it was sold cheap tbh, but if you were happy with the price then thats all that matters

It was sold with a WP blog on it with a handful of posts, it had pretty much purely been set up to let it age in the search engines. All the old content appears to be gone now, new buyer has swapped it for his own stuff.

I can't even remember how much we paid for it in the first place to be honest, it wasn't me who dealt with it. Something around £1000-1500 I think...

It was bought as an insurance policy against not being able to rank the .org, which we ended up not needing
