Doesn't help you very much I know 
but I once had a site (not shopperpress) that used a feed for amazon kindle stuff, the books though were hard to nail down using nodes. The best I could get was 'all and sundry' rather than by books by category.

Nope. It doesn't work. It doesn't even work if you do the "last possible trick" - search by ASIN. My version is 7.0.9, which one is yours?
