Here is the challenge - is there a smart way to link up

xxx.mydomain.com to some facet of wordpress - such as a directory that maps to a sub directory so I have:

/mydomain/xxx
/mydomain/xyz

and then WP is smart enough to know that if I type in xxx.mydomain.com in the browser and end up at /mydomain/xxx, WP will display an appropriate page for example. I should add this is the same site and I want the mapping to the same site - but just an aspect of it.

Any ideas?

The post is confusing.

You just want to redirect visitors / spiders from xxx.domain.com to domain.com/xxx/
