Wanted: Domain Appraisal Theukpokerforum.co.uk and .com

might be tempted to sell theukpokerforum.co.uk and .com as i simply have no time at all now.

Have loads of poker sites and was going to develope this one but no time means any sensible offers considered.

started to deveolope it a bit and a dozen members have found it somehow.

Advice also appreciated.

take what ever you can get - your two prefixes of 'the' and 'uk' makes this domain next to worthless. (for me anyway)

hmm,

never really thought of it like that.

just knew the biggest poker forum in the world is The Poker Forum.com - An Interactive Poker Information Source For Poker Players Everywhere. Features include:discussion forum, poker tournament news, poker rules, poker articles, free casino games, book reviews, poker books for sale, poker news and m so went for the same with uk in the name.

well more than likely if you put in the effort search engines will ignore the noise words = problem comes if someone pays big money they want marketability as well - coolpoker.co.uk sounds like a domain. the uk pokerforum.co.uk sounds like youre describing a poker forum and not the domain name itself - if you get what i mean - might have value with traffic but only for this reason.

yeah i'm with ya, again never though of domains like that newbie status maybe obvious now.

I honestly though that a domain that does exactly what it says on the tin was a good one.

dont take my words as gospel - the beauty of any domain (bear with me

) is in the 'eye of the beholder' as they say. (before you lot start - i never think of them as beautiful- i was just making a point

)

Everyone has a different set of standard rules, guideline etc - some based on personal preference others based on experience and revenue - this is why appraisals are always so fickle - more than anything be comfortable yourself - dont reg stuff you know little about etc.
