Trademark Infringement

I have just received an email from an affiliate program I promote for using a domain name that includes their trademark.

The domain name is a 'ProductReview.co.uk' domain name so clearly independent but does include their trademark.

They have requested that the domain and its content be transferred to them.

So my questions are:

1) Can anyone clarify the law on this?

2) Do they have any right to request the content of the domain - sure as I created it myself I own the copyright to it and they cannot take the content?

What is annoying is the fact the previous affiliate manager for the company actually approved my use of the domain name so I had permission to go against their terms. However, it was unfortunately only given verbally so I have no record of it so it doesn't give me much of a leg to stand on.

What is also crazy is that for the first 4,000 clicks I sent them I received no paid conversions then one month it just started tracking properly and earning over £100 a month. I emailed to ask why this was and never got a reply so actually I feel like it should be me taking action against them for affiliate fraud!
