There was a range of "cute" greeting cards in the early 1990s featuring a hedgehog (perhaps called "Ed", but maybe not?), a rabbit and if I remember rightly a few more forest creatures in various settings. It competed at the time with the "Forever Friends" type cards and it was quite popular. There were, I believe, also stuffed toys and the like along with the cards themselves.

Anyway, I know it's a real long shot, especially from such a vague description, but if anyone can remember these and can give me the "official" name of the series (e.g. "Forever Friends") and/or the company that made them, that would be great!

Brilliant! That's the one. Not sure, but I have a feeling it was bought by Hallmark since I last saw it in the shops about 15 years ago. Certainly didn't feel as "corporate" back then. Thanks a ton.
