Looks like the .uk ccTLD is back at the number two position in the global ccTLD rankings. Nominet's April 2010 figure has the .uk at 8,483,010 domains. The .cn took a nosedive from December 2009 onwards and has lost 5.4 million domains since then. Most of the losses in .cn are due to special offer .cn domains from the last few years being dropped but the rate of deletions is slowing.
As of April 2010, the domain counts are:
.de ccTLD: 13,630,401
.uk ccTLD: 8.483,010
.cn ccTLD: 8,254,681
