A US Court has yesterday ruled that ,quote "..in my Judgment Mr X's appearance to defend the res did not constitute a waiver of personal jurisdiction because in personam jurisdiction cannot be based soley on an appearance in an in rem action.".
In laymans terms, you can appear and interject on behalf and in defence of "A" .com or other domain name without putting yourself at risk of costs and damages by accepting personal jurisdiction of the US Courts.
