How you would place a level on value of .net names?

For instance if you had the same domain name available in .com, .co.uk, .net, .me.uk, .org, .org.uk, .tv and .biz - how would you rate a .net in list of worth?

My interpretation would be:

.com
.net
.co.uk
.org
.me.uk
.org.uk
.biz
.tv

Any thoughts or differing opinions?

Value of the .net surprisingly low, as many computer users know of the .net extension, but don't type it into there browser its mostly .com, the reason why the .com is so popular is because of the big 'com'mercial businesses have advertised on them and failed to advertise the .net

my order would be

.com
.net
.org
.co.uk / .us / .cctlds

.co.uk would be rated highly on this forum to uk members but world wide it would be ranked much lower.

I agree the .com extension is more valuable in cash terms due to 'type in traffic' and supply/demand. However I do think the cash value is becoming overated somewhat by demand.

How much actual type in traffic is there compared to natural search? My guess is there's at least ten times as much traffic coming because people type keywords in to Google/Yahoo etc. rather than typing a name followed by .com directly in a browser. The search engines do not discriminate by extension the same way people apparently do.

So while I accept the prices are higher with .com I feel this has created value with other top level extensions where you can still get good keywords at registration cost and grab significant search traffic volume.

I'd go for

.com
.net
.org
.eu
.biz
.co.uk
.org.uk

Basically tLDs are international so = bigger potential market.
.uk because I'm based here, English language, still sizeable music and financial markets.

I've not been inspired by .info, or .mobi, and .me seems to be an also ran.

I'm interested in other posters not ranking .EU as worth a punt. Surely 0.5 billion people can't outweigh 60m in UK?

Wouldn't you of said .co.uk is better than .net? Surely you'd get more users trying .co.uk instead of .net?

.com
.org
.co.uk
.mobi
.net
.org.uk
.info
.biz
.me.uk
.eu

.tv

.com
.net
.org / .info
.co.uk
.biz
.org.uk
.me.uk
.eu
.mobi
.tv

If your business is based in UK a lot of english people will type in .co.uk as well as .com

You are all basing the value of the name presumably on type in traffic.

However for developing domains .co.uk beats everything else bar .com hands down.
