no it has no value for example, when I had first entered domain industry, I had registered luxuury.com which I discovered later that spelling-error domains have a little to no value except in some cases as brandable domains like Digg is "dig with two g's" which easy to explain to customers or spelled domains with two different sounds.
That's works too but depends on the domain itself gets any traffic or no traffic at allDepends on what you do with it surely. You could use it as a funnel to another site so you know any typo traffic you get is relevant. Say you had mortagedeals.com then any traffic from the typo is forwarded to that is likely to be interested in you content and you may get conversions. I have a couple good traffic typos and they do make some cash.

yes i have noticed that too, as i think this give the owner of domain advantage against any possible trademark claims from companies like googleThat’s also a town of 20,000 people so it’s not really a typo (though I’m sure it will get miskeyed traffic too)
