What's a PayPal invoice and how to generate one?

Can anyone shed any light on what I'm supposed to do, I just sold a domain and they require an invoice from PayPal, part of the buyers email said:

Can you generate a paypal invoice for me to [email protected] please?

Once they have the invoice, they are going to send me the funds before I transfer the name, but I have no idea what a PayPal invoice is or how to generate one, I've never been asked for one of those before, any idea?

Hi,

log into paypal click on request money one of the things that comes up under that is create invoice. Just put in all the information into the various sections and then you can send it from there.
