I picked up a domain that I thought I would develop rather than just park so I pointed it at my eetc.co.uk site initially. I started working on it and published it with AdSense down the side but the AdSense ads relate to the content of my eetc.co.uk site. I am aware that it can take a couple of weeks for the AdSense bot to notice changes on your site but its been a couple of weeks now, so is there any way I can promote a new read of my site?

eetc

Then im not sure what you are suggesting when you need a new read of your site.

If I change the content of my site with the same adsense script in place, then the ads change after 4 or 5 hits on the old refesh button.

same here but if its a brand new site then google needs to index the pages first - i've got a number of sites at the moment that google has been 'ignoring' :D
if you dont have a link in your signature here then put one - this is a well trodden path for the google bot etc

good luck

I am not explaining myself very well, sorry. Have a look. The site is propertyintelligence.co.uk but the AdSense relates to eetc.co.uk

AdSense is referring to the eetc.co.uk site and I assume that is because the propertyintelligence domain was pointed at the eetc domain originally. The eetc site has not changed but the property site changes daily as the news is fed from Daily Telegraph.

I understand what you are saying and Ive had a look at your source code but I cannot find any difference between yours and mine.

<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-7472213070220292";
google_ad_width = 728;
google_ad_height = 15;
google_ad_format = "728x15_0ads_al_s";
google_ad_channel ="";
google_color_border = "FF9148";
google_color_bg = "FF9148";
google_color_link = "FFFFFF";
google_color_text = "FFFFFF";
google_color_url = "FFFFFF";
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>

I am suspecting that the AdSense bot will have recognised that the two sites were in actual fact the same site and will then not check again. I am going to try changing the content on the other site to see if that makes a difference...

eetc

Well, that didn't work. I have concluded that the AdSense bot has cached something with an association to the eetc site. I have now created a new page (i.e. one that didn't exist before) and I an redirecting from default page to that. Hopefully over time the problem will dissapear :( but for the moment I am displaying what is needed :)
