When do Pre noms become available?

I have emailed nominet with this response

We have made attempts to contact the registrant of the domain name, but we
have been unsuccessful. This is why the domain name has been suspended,
the domain name will remain in a suspended state and at Nominet UK's
discretion will be cancelled off the register. Once the domain name has
been cancelled it will be available to re-register on a first come first
serve basis.To monitor the status of the domain name, please check the
WHOIS search on our website, if a result of 'No Match' appears then the
domain name is available for registration


Do Nominet not have anything in place for prenoms

I'm sure I've said this before but only one senior member of staff decides on what day to drop a batch of prenoms and the system then randomises those over that day.

It's not just rumours, but prenoms drop in "unusual" order.

How come that one day, all prenoms dropped from 23:50 to 00:00 am?

Does the senior person decided to drop them before going to bed, at 23:45
and then system randomly distributed everything for the last 10 minutes??

nothing random about the last drop, they all dropped in a few hours of each other. No computer could be that dumb.

I can't understand why Nominet took this domain from you just to put it back to the pool, just to make someone snap it instead few hours later (correct me if I got situation wrong)?

I think, as it was their mistake, they should leave you with the name. It would be fair.

I'm just being silly by bringing it up again Nominet seem to have be having a lot of problems lately but reckon they've fixed it today.
