Anyone got any ideas for WordPress plugins? (Either something completely new or something existing that's been abandoned/doesn't do what you want it to do).

My boyfriend's looking for small projects to build up his development portfolio, so if anyone has any suggestions and he uses them, you'll get a link - plus the added benefit of the plugin of course!

I'd like to see a plugin that lets you create a better links directory with Wordpress.

There are some themes that turn wordpress into a full blown directory site using custom taxonomies and and custom post types, but I would just like a few more options added to the current blogroll system (tags maybe?), and a decent way to display it on via a page or pages.

i'd like a wordpress plugin for a football teams latest score.

Maybe a decent auction plugin there are a few already but didnt really like the ones I tried

One that you would make a lot of people happy & yourself (BF!) a good few £ down the line) is an affiliate feed plugin.

I already use one that takes care of ebay very nicely however a plugin that takes Amazon & Affiliate Window feeds (with auto updating) would be awesome. It may be that you'd have to do one at a time (if so then amazon first plse!)

There's one or two out there that 'sort of work' (don't fulfil their claims & are clunky & difficult to work with).

I would even contribute to dev costs (all things being equal) :D

><(((o>

1) a fix / update to "sunpress exchange"

2) a regex type plugin that will change all affiliate links including deeplinks and even for draft posts when a merchant changes networks

3) something that doesn't bother emailing messages via a contact form when the message starts with "what would a ... " / SEO proposal etc etc
