Thanks for the update lets hope they sign a similar deal in the UK might shake things up a bit

Firefox is down to less than 5% of visitors for most of the websites we look after. As a browser it has fallen massively behind Google Chrome for performance.

No one uses it on mobile (less than 0.1%).

This is a commercial deal to help support the FF browser, but I can't see it making any realistic difference to search distribution.
