Google Adsense Yahoo Paid Search Box

I got an email today from a company asking if I would consider putting a yahoo search box on my website for xx a month

Id have to create a subdomain for it and when a user does a search they would get redirected to the subdomain which contains sponsored listings

Whats the angle here? why are a third party company wanting to pay me a fix sum per month to add a yahoo search box

Is this the equivalent of me saying to someone "hey why don't you put my adsense code on your site, I will give you xx a month" and then i make x,xxx from it

I've no idea how it works to be honest. But from what I do know the sites that this works on needs certain things like a good PR.

Whatever it is it seems to be one of the few things that are kept quite on here and other forums?!

I assume it works like how you said because there must be money in it for them somehow.

How does it work?

Pm me.

The program worked by offering a search box or a list of keywords that are hyperlinks. When clicked they would go to Ask adverts.

A bit like Adsense but with more clicks as you control the keyword links but less ppc
