You are correct. For anyone that doesn't have assets or brands or high-tech projects that require these domains, they have no value. So maybe you're asking the wrong people. Contact the handful of people who might be interested directly and sell to them because I don't see any value outside of that. Ignoring the poor terms the extensions are also a big problem outside of the .com.

how do you select domains when choosing which one to reg?

I'm certainly not the be-all and end-all of appraisals.
However it might help if you explain why you think they could be of value. For example what is cloudxaa? I could find no google references to the term. What does it mean? What would make someone want to pay a premium for it instead of registering an alternative for a few dollars?

yes, I also did look up 'cloudxaa' .. now there will be 1 ref = leading to Acorn
