There are people on here that would kill for a domain getting that many typo-hits.

Well if they're not getting any business from the addiitonal typos then they have every right to be angry, however they'd be much better suited if they kept the domain for hits, moved their actual website to another server, put up a front page placeholder stating Youtube here / Utube here and then getting on with business. The silly buggers. Infact I'm going to email them now.

Well I'll email them when their contact form finally works under all this increased traffic - they haven't even changed email address, they're obviously more interested in the lawsuit, solicitor would have told them not to change anything.

I'm sure a few of us on here would help them out and take it off of them for a tenner so they can buy a new domain!

They actually want money to re-brand. Which wouldn't be cheap for a company that's been running for 10+ years.

Well having a business named utube you'd think they'd have got youtube as well, in a way it's their own fault.

I can't see how they can win unless the law has given compensation in the following scenario:-

Company runs national advertising campaign using a specific number

Another company with a different number by one character gets their switch board blocked due to the national advertising campaign
