Hi Guys,

I cannot quite remember if Edwin once did a youtube video explaining the pluses to buying a generic domain, this would be great on my homepage? its just something about the way Edwin words it.

A quick 3-4 min video edwin for me what would that cost?

Thanks
Sean

Adding to this is there any nice graph trends to show aswell Edwin say last 10 years or sales - decent sales etc...

Did you used to have that on your for sale landing pages?

I can tell electric bicycles co uk is one of your favourite domains, you mention it a lot :p

Yes, I did. I might put it back on at some point. I keep fiddling with the landers (far too much, no doubt - they don't get the amount of traffic to merit all the changes, but I just get itchy fingers)

And I tend to talk about the electric bicycles domain because I used it in the Adwords case study...

Sean, I've used Blossom for a client and we were both extremely impressed with the results especially for the price. Well worth a look.

Finished video Here. She's also done TV work and saw her on an advert (insurance?) only the other week.

oh right... what does everyone else think?

Personally I don't like them, as I'm often working in cafes so can't really listen to sound. When I'm working at home I'm listening to music and don't want to listen to sound. I'd much rather have it all in text. For complicated, lengthy videos text seems much better as you can jump back and forward far easier if needed.

I think videos are great for some purposes - say for showing how to assemble a product, a walk through of how to do something online, or a demo of something like a car.

Also if you do want to use a video it would be really stupid to feature a video promoting someone elses business on your homepage. Spend $50 and have your own branded one...
