    Almost KIA'd everything...

Ok, so I decided to change the scheama that runs the site, this resuled in a mad scramble to fix it after it just killed everything, how often have any of you done anything like that, thankfully we recovered in about 8 hours, and there's been minimal data loss on active dropping domains, just...

What have you been listening to recently?

oh, erm, given I listen to music for about 11 hours a day, this could be tricky... Eminem, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Sum 41, Dougal, Gammer, John Lajoie, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Queen, ELO, Scooter, Nakatomi ...and that's just the last couple hours

I made somthing - NameChase - .uk Droplists

The metrics might take a little while longer, it’s blocked by key wording, and that’s gonna be a bigger task than I’d hoped. I’m trying to avoid things like `injplumbing’ becoming ‘in, j, plumbing’ but instead just key wording with ‘plumbing’ Other things I’d like it to do is deal with...

I made somthing - NameChase - .uk Droplists

Thanks @dee, my aim is to make this not only easy to use, but a modern interface that’s usable on any device, and respond to feedback, within 24 hours. I might not be able to implement a feature request, or deal with an issue in that timeframe, but at least an acknowledgement at minimum.

Ok, so over the weekend I worked on some advanced search options, the simpler ones are still there, but you can now do a search like `*mug(s) | *cup(s)` and it will find all the domains that end in mug, mugs, cup, cups in a single search. I’ve rearranged what’s shown on the columns, versus the...

I made somthing - NameChase - .uk Droplists

I did some major database optimisation, and pages now load so much faster than before, so if you took a look and found it slow and sluggish, this might help

@Helmuts if I’ve put this in the wrong place, can you move it for me, I’m thinking it should have gone in Domain Tools 😅

I made somthing - NameChase - .uk Droplists

Hey All, I’ve been working on something on and off for a couple years now, and I’ve finally got something to show for it, (with the help of Claude), I was hoping a couple of you might check it out, and give me some feedback. I’m not expecting it to be fantastic, it’s running on low-cost...

FFS - I let a domain name drop

Yeah, I had a couple that I just couldn’t afford to renew at the time drop, I’ve since managed to recover one as the person who caught it dropped it, but the other one I really wanted to keep is still being held.

    Historical Nominet Droplist

I’d have happily helped you out with ones going back as far as mid Aug, as that’s as far back as I’ve got myself, but I see Alan has already gotten there :)

    Historical Nominet Droplist

I've been downloading the daily lists for couple months, and archiving them for some reason, but I missed the one for August 31st, I know that most of the domains would be on the previous list, but is there a way to download a historical list?
