Just tried to activate my .uk domains, got an error message alerting me to contact 123reg, I opened a ticket with them, and got this as a reply.

Just had some emails from Nominet informing that 3 x .uk domains had been regged relating to .co.uk domains I own. As far as I was concerned regging .uk was my sole right until 2019, seems not....!
Interfering 123reg have taken it upon themselves to 'assist' customers by starting to register...
I'm about to buy a new oven via John Lewis online, I can't be bothered trying to setup an affiliate link to get commission, anyone got one I can use (you'll get the commissions) first to post link to a link/banner gets my commission

Have they left a contact tel no. in their letter? you could always ring them back, saves leaving them with documented evidence, if not, I normally just ignore any first contact, but either keep a mental note of the letter or email and wait to see if they make contact again some time later, just...
