    Ok put my 10 bucks into this with regards Geo domains. Ok lets talk about Blackpool Yes its a seaside resort with great beaches, has theme parks that attract visitors to location has a lot going for it. but its not Vegas. It has gameing machine arcades taking up about 70% of the shoreline...

    Yep thew BBC is doing the correct thing by moving over to .com. The carry on with .co.uk and .UK basically killed the name space and downgraded the brand. The confusion this is going to create over the years will be worse that companys will move over to .com to protect there business...

    Both domains reached reserve price that was asked. If the buyer for those names is now refusing to buy them then name and shame them . was same buyer for both are they still allowed to to bid on domains. What is the problem with those both domains are they going back up for auction.

    Looks like good % of those.Uk domains that sold auction still with original catchers. Wonder why taken so long to tranfer to new owners or is it the dropcatchers bidding on own domains to set a value on .UK domains.

    If you have .Co.UK domain ad .UK domain have the sitesdevelped ot youcoud use one domain as free email service for people in the location. This allows you to bild up a local customer base for your local adverting business.

    It was time bail out away from .co.uk namespace when they just increased the cost about 100% if they done it once they will do it again. So happy made choice to focus on .com and drop 99% .co.uk domains.

    Totally agree with Robert Smith on .UK domain space at some point Google will bring .UK into its own and then remove .co.uk as just being another domain.
