If you get in the position where you're forwarding the transfer paper work  to a buyer and your paying the transfer fee   If you want to pay using a credit card you dont really want to give the buyer the bit of paper with ALL your credit card details on

Is there any way of paying with a credit card and not send your details all around the houses?

thanks

Send the payment form directly to Nominet with a covering note explaining that the transfer form is coming via the proposed new registrant.

If you don't want to put two stamps on, just fax it to nominet, email it to nominet, train the dog to walk the route to Oxford, put a second envelope in the envelope you're sending to buyer and seal it... alternatively, write a cheque.

ask the new registrant for all their details (sections 5 - 8 ) and fill it in for them... 1 stamp

(or don't be daft enough to agree to pay the transfer fee in the first place! :) )

But if you use escrow.com you have to front up the transfer fee even if the buyer is the one who is paying. Paying by cheque is the answer.

Lee's advice was good, but I don't own a dog. If anyone decides to train their dog to go to Oxford maybe they could train it to stop off at my house on the way to see if I've got any mail I want to go to Nominet for free.
