Nominet 1&1 - Cannot get my domains to another Tag

Anyone had experience of Nominet stepping in to make an tag change ? Would they be able to ?

I have 3 .co.uk's on 1&1's tag. When I try to make a tag change on their interface, after putting in the new tag and pressing next, the tag field clears and nothing happens. They confirm it was a bug in their system and asked me to try 24 hours later. Still not working. Called them yesterday and they said they would do it manually. Still not transferred

I've had no problem transferring from other tags to mine.

Is there anything nominet can do to intervene ?

Anyone had the same experience recently ?

Theirs plenty of stories of shocking 1&1 service here and elsewhere.

I'd call nominet though and complain about 1&1 service they might even step in and do it free but that's unlikely
