1 & 1 do not sell to married women,official !!

Well that takes the biscuit for ridiculous rules. I set up an account with 1&1 for a someone who wanted to register a few .eu names. On the account set up it did NOT have choice of "Mrs" ,only "Mr" or "Ms" . I chose "ms" and then contacted them try to change it to the correct "Mrs" same as on the Credit Card as well so no problems.
1&1 today sent me a long pdf file they wanted complete just to add an "r". I wrote back and said cannot they either just add the "r" and make it "Mrs" and they wrote back and said, quote:
" Thank you for contacting us.
I'm very sorry but I gave the wrong info. Actually you can only have "Ms" and using "Mrs" is not possible. Sorry for any inconvenience.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us."
end quote.

It shows me how useless 1&1 are ,or am I wrong ?

Oh yes ,and I just rang their "help"line and the girl was in Philippines and knew absolutely zilch about domains or 1&1.Great company, not.

The situation is simple. Get divorced. Register domains. Re-marry.

Lol, yeh right. I contacted them again and asked if they would consider putting "Mrs" as an option in the sign up form ,and they said;

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, "Mrs." is not an option in our system.
