Does anyone know if you can define your own error 404 page on your 1&1 hosting? so you don't get their standard one that has their own Sedo links example.
(I know you're thinking 'why not ask 1&1?'... if someone here knows it will be a lot quicker !)
It seems my question was re-posted on A4UForum by another member (using the bad link on one of my domains !)... it was answered there but sadly not posted back here
You can configure your own 404 if on MS hosting
On the Domains section of your 1&1 account visit the bottom of the page and look for Empty Pages Parking then create your own 404 page in the route folder with the filename "error404.html".
