1993.co.uk

That was one I was watching and thinking of registering (the year my son was born).

I notice every single 'gem' domain on Domainlore is flat on £50, including yours (though with days to go) and one of mine. Even the ones finishing soon are all on £50. So I wondered if most domains on the Gems page don't sell?

Anyway, good luck with 1993, and I hope good luck with mine, which I won't detail on your thread.

I think 'year' domains must have an appeal, as a personal thing, for quite a lot of people. Even as a birthday present for someone, or a vanity email address.... at least it would be vanity until you get to a certain age... I've got my own year .co.uk but I'm not going to tell people what it is! It was a very good year!

Ah! Thanks to Matt for explaining by PM how Domainlore works.

I think a 'year' domain like 1993.co.uk is attractive, because over half a million people must have been born in that year.
