250,000 .IE Domain Registered

I don't think @dog said anything about becoming a registrar, there wasn't anything referring to that aspect on the linked pages he gave. It's about .ie being opened up, where anyone with a connection to Ireland, can now register .ie domains, whereas recently, before they did their consultation on making it easier for the public to register a domain, it was difficult to get a .ie domain, even if it was only your name or a nickname, there were hoops to jump through.

I was thinking about registering a few (I have an Irish passport) to potentially sell on, there are plenty of good names available to reg.

Errr that’s like saying I’m going invest in .uk but I’m going to renew them at 123-reg at £9.99

You would become a Nominet member and get £3.75 ?
