Just trying to tie up some loose ends and wonder if anybody can help solve the small riddle.

v2 .uk it was stated there were 313 feedback responses.

In the list of published responses I can only find 152.

You would expect a difference as obviously it does not include those who did not give permission to publish but the difference looks larger than I would expect.

Has anybody seen anything to explain the difference like it was blog comments or tweets that didn't provide permission?

Also are the some view of what those "who didn't give permission" feedback compared to those that gave permission?

Thanks for any help on this.

No mystery. From the Nomensa document
http://www.nominet.org.uk/sites/def...onForRegistrationAtThe2ndLevelFinalReport.pdf

Once the data had been filtered (test, blank and duplicate responses removed) there were 306 responses remaining, including:

243 online consultation tool responses;
38 PDF responses;
25 email responses

It should be noted that part (not all) of the data will be published. Responses will only be published where the respondent provided consent for this (151 provided consent; 133 did not want their response published; those that did not declare anything should not be published)

I have no idea if there's any difference in response between the published and unpublished responses, and since we will NEVER know I'm not going to waste even a minute thinking about it as any opinion would be no better than a random guess.
