Good investment, nice price paid - A name I'm sure will only increase in value with all the hype around 3D TV - You got in there right time imo, well done, just make sure you also get out at the right time too (many years yet) as in before the next big thing to supersede it comes out.

Thanks all, this is definitely a long term investment, probably a couple of years before 3D TV takes off appreciably.
I did debate whether to go public or not but decided that doing so would be beneficial to the .uk domain space; as I own 7000+ other .uk domains I wasn't being entirely selfless. ;-)
I contacted Ron Jackson as per Edwin's suggestion and it should appear in this week's round-up.

You think that long? What with Sky running their pub trial in the next few weeks, I can see the high end 3DTV market picking up much sooner.

From press reports, it looks like early availability of 3D ready televisions is going to be fairly limited at first. As such, demand (even if low) may still end up outstripping supply for a while at least.

Great buy, I have looking around a few 3d related domains recently, mostly gaming but that is a fantastic domain, and great you went public too, will help bring focus to the tech domains for the UK domain market.

Good luck with your great buy.Ihave purchased a few 3d domains a while ago and hope they will also do ok,one of which i have very high hopes for which is
upgradeto3d.com and the others upgradeto3dtv.com-watch3depisode.com and finally 3dgamesnews.com.I have parked these at Sedo and you never know i might get some offers,if not will develop them.
