What's everyones opinion on these tyes of domains?

eg.

thin pink kids laptops, waterproof digital flash camera,

Is 4 keywords too many? Does it help or hinder?

doesn't look good. you can rank for long tail terms rather easy by putting good content on your site. personally I wouldn't bother with them.

ifthekeywordyouwantedtoregisterhadloadsofexactsearches.co.uk i'd register it :)

I don't mind them, got a few 3/4 word bike names including "full suspension mountain bikes" on an org.uk, had the .co.uk but sold that one, also "last minute cruise deals" on a .co.uk and a few others, if they get searched for, I'll reg them.

Well the name I was interested in has gone from 14000 uk exacts down to 720 uk exacts overnight. stupid google keywords tool

It seems to have become fashionable to quote figures off that tool recently but I would say dont bother.

I have never used it and do ok without it.

If you like the name then reg it I say.

That would be the change from July to August stats on the tool, what niche was it in?

Maybe for an experienced domainer, with intuition that you've developed over time, but it's got to be the best current guide to get a rough idea of search volumes.

You don't use the tool in any way?

If you like the name then reg it I say.

Surely not the best advice for people new to domains?

The niche is an extremely high tech peice of equipment so I am still tempted.

If its quite niche as you suggest then I think go for it, what do you have to lose?? only reg fee. :D

If the equipment is high value then a few affiliates, money earner will cover the reg fee very quicky.
