As the resident 'expert' (I guess), I can see some value in it, though maybe 2-3 years too late to the party for the particular purpose you mentioned. I was tempted to bid at £400, but looking at IPO, there is a trademark against the name in the television production category, and another in a class I'd have use for it in.
I like the name, surprised that it didn't go for more.
It's real strength is as a brandable, we are now looking at 5K retina and 8K technology so 4K as a tech domain has a limited use.
Having enquired about similar NL.co.uk domains via Sedo I'd estimate end-user pricing to be mid 4 to low 5 figures.
