5 new cases

Did you see the 5 new cases that appeared on DRS decisions today:

Decisions - 4001 to 5000

For the first 4:

DRS 04253 papermillshop.co.uk

DRS 04245 myt-mobile.co.uk

DRS 04229 ulsterbankanytime.co.uk

DRS 04219 jhdonald.co.uk

Chao Investments Limited and Domain Administration Limited have the same PO Box address? Are they seperate legal entities? Both companies are now one away from the 3 cases respondent table. Also to get that many DRS cases at once they must have upset some with a PRSS subscription!

Also the 5th case:

DRS 04258 hargeaveslansdown.co.uk

Respondent: Jason Maxan
Address: omitted from WHOIS service

Has anyone seen Nominet 'omit' an address like this before?

Not sure if I am somehow misunderstanding what you are asking here... but any private individual not trading can opt out of having their address shown in the WhoIs - hence the phrase "...The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service..."

Whois is referring to the DRS paperwork, not the whois.

I would think that its been omitted because the address was either

spoilt
or
incorrect

I know what whois opt-out means.

However I think (though not sure) that up and till now if a registrant had opted out of the whois service their address was still put on the DRS case report:
